Why do we celebrate our babies first steps but we don’t celebrate the fact that we are well and able to walk more every single day? Walking is a privilege with amazing benefits to our Health.

Have a desk job? Why don’t you look at getting a standing desk to use for an hour or two per day. On the phone a lot, you can walk and talk. Make it a habit in your family to get up during commercials on tv and just walk until your movie or show starts again. Sundays should be classified as a walking day. Take your family and go for a walk, just once a week.

There are so many benefits of walking, and it is such a simple way to improve your health. Try and aim for 10 000 steps a day and see how you can dramatically improve your health.

Stress

We all have it, no matter how old you are you will have some kind of stress that you need to deal with. But Stress management is the big concern for our health. It’s impossible to eliminate stress completely, we just need to learn how to cope with our daily stressful lives and manage it to live a healthy happy life.

Exercise (releases endorphins that make you feel good), read a book, paint, cook or do anything that can get you to relax and not think about your problems for those few minutes.

If you’re living with high levels of stress, you’re putting your entire well-being at risk. Stress wreaks havoc on your emotional equilibrium, as well as your physical health. It narrows your ability to think clearly, function effectively, and enjoy life. It may seem like there’s nothing you can do about stress. The bills won’t stop coming, there will never be more hours in the day, and your work and family responsibilities will always be demanding. But you have a lot more control than you might think.
